Weekly Meeting – February 28

Our meeting this week will be on Thursday, February 28th from 10:55 – 11:50 AM in Mason Room 2117. Simpson Gumpertz & Heger will be presenting, and we’ll be serving food and drink as usual.

About the presenter: SGH is a structural engineering consultant; they design, investigate, and rehabilitate structures, building enclosures, and materials. SGH has several open summer internship positions and entry-level positions across the U.S. Check out their website for more information.

AECOM would like to host an exclusive dinner for Chi Epsilon students. This is an amazing opportunity to speak extensively with AECOM engineers in a small group setting. We are in the process of scheduling the dinner, and we would like to know what days work best for you all. About the presenter: PES is a structural engineering consulting company that provides services in structural design, rehab projects, BIM, and blast design. They have an office here in Atlanta and another in Connecticut. Check out their website for more information.

Indoor Soccer

Sign up to join the Chi Epsilon/ASCE indoor soccer team. Initiates – games can count toward your social event hours.

PAWS Atlanta – this weekend!

We will have a volunteering opportunity at PAWS Atlanta on Saturday, February 16th from 10:30am to 12:30pm. We’ll be meeting at Mason parking lot at 9:45am. Typical group volunteer projects may include (but are not limited to) the following: cleaning, organizing, general landscaping and socializing the animals.
