XE has decided to start a new mentorship program to help underclassmen get the hang of college and the CEE department. We were all in their place once: worried about what classes to take and in which order, hesitant of what track to follow, and even unsure of what CEE professionals did in the real world. Man, it would have been nice to have someone to help us out!
And that’s exactly what we’re hoping to do for our incoming CEE students!
The program is not a huge time commitment, we just ask that you meet with your mentee(s) about three times a semester to provide support during career fair, spring schedules, and finals. XE will plan for at least one event where you can mingle with each other (food provided of course).
So please, let us know if you’re interested in being a mentor! This also counts as community service for initiates.
